You might know Rachelle Richards as one of our Client Managers and Bookkeepers at Advisory Partner, but did you know she also has a long history in barrel horse racing?
After becoming the Australian Barrel Racing Champion, Rachelle spent almost a decade competing in the US and Canada, so the sport has been a big part of her life.
So, when the Circle L ABHA National Finals came to the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) in Tamworth in September, Advisory Partner was proud to be back as a sponsor for the second year running.
“Barrel racing is one of the fastest-growing equestrian sports in Australia, and it’s exciting to see the momentum building, not just in the arena, but in the businesses behind it. From breeding programs producing the next generation of competition horses to the trainers, suppliers and rural enterprises that support them, there’s real commercial potential in this industry,” says Rachelle.
This year, Advisory Partner sponsored the Fastest 9-Year-Old in the Maturity, which was won by Rachelle’s long-time friend Liza Longney and “Birdie”.
